P R E P A R A T I O N.

Exfoliate and shave 24 hours before your sunless session.
If you are planning on getting a manicure, pedicure, or waxing service done, this must be done 24-48 hours prior to your sunless appointment.
Do not shower or shave directly before your sunless appointment. Shower gels can create a barrier on the skin that will not allow the solution to properly absorb.
Do not wear lotion or makeup to your sunless appointment.
Wear very little to no deodorant to your sunless appointment. Deodorant will react with the instant bronzer and turn green. This could cause uneven results.
Wear dark, loose clothing to your sunless session. It is recommended to wear a dark sundress or a loose romper. Please bring flip flops as well. If it is raining the day of your appointment, be sure to bring clothes and shoes that cover you completely. Don't forget your umbrella!

M A I N T E N A N C E.

For all traditional solution users: do not shower for at least 8-12 hours. The instant bronzer must remain on your skin to develop properly. Do not leave solution on your skin for over 12 hours.
For all rapid quick rinse users: WARM WATER RINSE ONLY within 1-4 hours. (1 hour- light, 2 hours- medium, 3 hours- dark, 4 hours- darkest). We will determine rinse time during your sunless appointment. The instant bronzer will wash off, and the tan will continue to develop for 24 hours. NO moisturizer after first initial rinse.
Do not use bar soaps or unrecommended liquid soaps (Bath and Body, Dial, Dove, etc.) during the life of your spray tan. Please inquire about the spray tan safe bar soap available for purchase- it's an absolute must have for proper maintenance!
Moisturizing is the key to a successful spray tan. You should be moisturizing 2-3 times a day with the recommended moisturizer(s) discussed during your aftercare review after your spray tan session.
It is recommended not to shave for 24 hours after your appointment. Please use a new razor when you shave with a spray tan. Conditioner is also a wonderful alternative to shaving cream while you have a spray tan!
Do not swim for at least 24 hours after your appointment. If you do swim during your spray tan's life span, make sure you are taking a shower directly after to remove any chemicals on the skin. Using our tan extender after swimming is HIGHLY recommended!
When you are at the end of the life of your spray tan, get to scrubbing! The best way to remove all spray tan residue is soaking in a hot bath, then using an exfoliating scrub or an exfoliating mitt to remove excess spray residue. You'll be ready to book your next appointment at this time!
